Vertical centrifugal pumps of type MMCYP have been developed specially for discharging aggressive, lightly contami-nated liquids such as acide, alkalis and chemical effluents.
The closed impeller design using long axial throttle gaps permits submersion depths down to 3m at operatingtemperatures of 80 Centigrade.
Quiet and steady running of the shaft is guranteed through the use of a submerged sleeve
Bearing made of carbon, ceramic or silicon carbide and a self-aligning roller bearing which will not be in contact with the pumped liquid.
All parts in contact with the liquid are made of strong, solid plastic. The heavily constructed shaft has been given a nonporous plastic coating.
Suspension and discharger pipings are seperate and solidlyconstructed.
No metal parts are in directcontact with the pumped medium.
Mounting flange up to pump size80/200 respectively IEC motor size160-made of solid plastic. Use of rubber-lined steel for large sizes.
Motor and pump shaft are connected by coupling with flexible elements.
Drive by means of IEC standard motors.
The MMCYP is avaliable with lengths of 500, 1000, 1500, 1750mm; For designs using intermedia bearings in sizes 200, 2500 and 3000mm. Extension of submersion depth within given limits as well as adjustment to intermediate lengths is made possible by connecting a corresponding suction piping to provide the exact settings.

Hydraulic parts(impeller, volute casing, casing cover) also avaliable in Polyethylene PE(or high density PE)

For special requirements designs without lower sleeve bearing are possible.
